TASTING NOTES
The 2017 Leese Fitch Red Blend offers a bright, easy drinking red wine. With aromas of brambly fruit with ripe blackberry and raspberry, toasted hazelnut and notes of black tea spice. This medium-bodied wine is rich on the palate with cherry, buttery graham cracker, coconut and warm vanilla flavors. This well-balanced wine – where the sum of the parts truly works together for the whole – offers ripe fruit, plush texture framed by a solid structure and a nice dose of acidity to keep the finish bright and flavorful.

WINEMAKER NOTES
The majority of the grapes for our Leese Fitch Red Blend come from the sun-drenched California regions of Lodi, Clarksburg, and Paso Robles. Lodi fruit brings bright, warm weather character while the slightly cooler Clarksburg and Paso Robles regions bring the structure as well as the enticing briar patch characteristics. The 2017 vintage is an interesting blend of seven varietals to create a delicious, crowd pleasing red wine for everyday enjoyment.
