When a larger percentage of single-pot still whiskey is blended together with Irish grain whiskey in re-charred bourbon barrels, the result is Jameson Black Barrel. The whiskey has a gorgeous golden color. As soon as you open the bottle, you're greeted by a malty aroma with lemon overtones. The smokey undertones of a single-pot whiskey may also be noticed in this whiskey's flavor. A rich caramel taste with citrus and toffee notes makes this a great whiskey. It is silky and smooth, with a woody finish and a hint of vanilla.
