We could’ve named it Benchmark Brown, because it is the benchmark for what a brown ale should taste like. A glass of Bellaire Brown will greet you with big notes of chocolate, toasted malt, caramel and coffee. It is equally full bodied and easy on the palate, dry and unfussy. We named it after our hometown and put the clock tower on the label as an homage to Northern Michigan, to small towns and slower lifes, to roasty fires and long days at the beach.
