Jack Daniel's Tennessee Rye is a whiskey that could only originate from Lynchburg, Tennessee, thanks to a 70% rye grain bill, natural spring freshwater from Cave Spring Hollow, and Jack's time-honored charcoal maturing technique. The Jack Daniel Distillery's Master Distiller Jeff Arnett and the whiskey craftsmen have created a distinctive rye that is undoubtedly peppery and nuanced yet sipping smooth. It has a wonderful golden caramel hue and a robust fried banana, hot chocolate, and roasted grain aroma. The drying cinnamon and nutmeg flavors are accompanied by additional chocolate flavours on the palate. Shortly, a trace of caramelized apple emerges. The flavors end with a black pepper and toasted oak finish, which leave a delightful peppery aftertaste.
